The Salvation Army Social Housing Service is here to:

• Provide transitional housing services to people who are homeless and in housing crisis.
• Assist to access longer-term accommodation options, private & public.
• Provide information about the housing market, financial assistance and give links to other housing and related services.
• Provide information about a range of community resources.
• Assist in regard to people's rights in relation to housing access.

• Referrals
• Advocacy
• Emergency Accommodation.

We also offer limited financial assistance in the following areas:

• Bonds
• Rent Arrears
• Rent In Advance

Please note that eligibility will need to be assessed prior to any commitments being made by this service.

This information is to assist your agency in knowing who to refer clients to if they have a housing problem of some kind.

The Salvation Army Housing Service is the appropriate point of referral for any housing distress an individual or family may be experiencing.
